Young people from Merseyside take part in adventurous activites in Angelsey

Posted by: admin

Young people from the Merseyside area recently took part in a number of adventurous activities in North Wales during their summer holidays. Some of the activities included Canoeing, Climbing, Hill Walking and Rafting. The aim of the project was to provide an engaging programme of activities which assisted in the cohesion and working together with young people from different areas of Mersey side.

In addition those involved were also taught basic survival skills which covered food preparation, cooking, improvised shelters as well as how to sustain themselves in unfamiliar environment. Funding was provided by the Police Property Act through The Community Foundation for Merseyside.
