3 Day First Aid at Work Course – £150.00 per delagate
The course is designed to train candidates in both theoretical and practical aspects of First Aid to the standards required by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations) 1981.
The course includes:
- Priorities of First Aid
- Injuries to Bones, Muscles & Joints
- Managing an Incident Communication & Delegation in an Emergency & Appropriate Action.
- Recognition of Minor Illnesses
- Roles/responsibilities of Employers & Employees for FAW
- Recognition and management of major illnesses
- Causes of the unconscious casualty
- Care of the Unconscious Casualty
- Disorders of the Airway
- Infection Control
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Eye Injuries
- Poisoning
- Miscellaneous Injuries
- Wounds, Bleeding & Shock
- Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
- Burns & Scalds
- Record Keeping & Accident Reporting
All candidates will receive a First Aid Manual, Learner Pack and all courses include resources and assessment fees. In order to gain a certificate you must attend all the course hours and pass the practical and written assessment. An approved Qualsafe Award Level 3 Award (Previously HSE) First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for three years, will be awarded to all successful candidates.
Please note that Official Photographic ID is required i.e. passport/driving license as proof of ID for all First Aid courses attendees.
