Child B arrived in January 2014 from another school out of the area. She had been at risk of exclusion and had an IBP with targets linked to attitude and behaviour towards both work and her peers. She made a good transition within the first two weeks of her arrival but behaviour deteriorated just before our first visit to the KSA centre for our taster day.
KSA has helped her with her group work and communication skills as she started a new school. She now recognises her own strengths and weaknesses in group work and problem solving tasks and has applied the learning skills taught by KSA to other areas such as Maths. She has also thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and looks forward to KSA each week.
