Child C has had difficulties in the past with her over activity and enthusiasm. She can limit her learning and others because she becomes over-excited.
Within a couple of weeks she had self evaluated that she was obstructing learning by ‘taking over’ and being too ‘bossy’ and shouting over others. Rather than delegating, she would obstruct the task by taking control but in a non-organised manner. Her groups would often fall-out or not complete the tasks.
As a direct result of KSA group work, she has identified that she can control her enthusiasm and channel it with others to complete tasks. She listens and co-operates more. Even though she still gets over-excited, she can stop and evaluate how she is working in group work and self correct her actions for the benefit of the group.
